Diaphragm Kits

Keep your diaphragm pump running like new with replacement diaphragm kits for popular spray pumps, including AR (Annovi Reverberi), Udor, Comet, and Shurflo models used on pest control, lawn care, and agricultural spray rigs.

When to replace your diaphragms

Oil-filled pumps (AR, Udor, Comet):

  • The oil in the sight glass looks milky or whitish (water is getting into the oil)
  • The pump is losing oil or oil is coming out of the outlet
  • Pressure or flow has dropped and valves and filters check out fine
  • It's part of your end-of-season or routine maintenance

When you replace the diaphragms on an oil-filled pump, change the oil at the same time.

12-volt pumps (Shurflo):

  • Liquid is leaking from the pump head or the drain holes near the motor
  • The pump won't build or hold pressure
  • The pump keeps cycling on and off with the spray gun closed
  • The pump loses prime or runs but won't draw from the tank

Choosing the right kit

Match the kit to your exact pump model, which is usually printed on the pump body or label. Many pumps offer more than one diaphragm material, so choose the one that fits the chemicals you spray:

  • Buna (NBR): the standard choice for water-based chemicals
  • Desmopan: a tough polyurethane option for abrasive or demanding use
  • BlueFlex: AR's premium long-life material
  • Viton: for harsher chemicals, where specified
