Udor 8700.26 Diaphragm Repair Kit for Kappa-55 Pumps

The genuine Udor diaphragm rebuild kit for Kappa-55 diaphragm pumps. It includes three Desmopan piston diaphragms, the accumulator diaphragm and six valve o-rings, everything needed for a routine diaphragm rebuild on a 3-diaphragm pump. When to Replace the Diaphragms

Udor recommends replacing the diaphragms every 500 hours or at the end of each season, whichever comes first. If the oil in the pump's reservoir turns milky, a diaphragm has ruptured and spray mix is getting into the crankcase. Stop the pump and rebuild it right away.

Rebuild Tips from Udor

• Follow all factory torque specifications when installing the new diaphragms.
• Drain the oil and refill with 30-weight non-detergent oil (Udor lube is part 15.5823).
• Set the accumulator diaphragm pressure to 20% of your operating pressure.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does this kit include valves?
No. It includes the valve o-rings but not the valve assemblies. Udor's complete kit, 8700.26CK, adds the valve assemblies, diaphragm bolts and washers. Call us at 602-371-1993 to order the complete kit.

What if the pump head is cracked or damaged?
A new diaphragm kit won't fix a damaged head. The Udor 6017.F2 pump head fits the Kappa-55.

Will it fit my Kappa pump?
This kit is for the Kappa-55. Other Kappa pumps use different kits. For example, the Kappa-30/40/50 uses the 8700.02, and the Kappa-33/43/53 (including the Kappa-43 GR) uses the 8700.45. Check the model on your pump's label, or call us.
