Insecticide dusters put dust exactly where liquid sprays can't or shouldn't go: wall voids, cracks and crevices, behind outlet covers, under appliances, and into wasp and bee nests. Dust stays active for months in a dry void, which is why pest control pros rely on it for roaches, ants, scorpions, spiders, and bed bugs. We carry professional bulb dusters, hand and bellows dusters, electric and pressurized power dusters, and long-reach dusters, plus the insecticide dusts to fill them. Orders over $199 ship free.
What Is a Bulb Duster?
A bulb duster is a squeeze bulb with a nozzle. Fill it partway with dust, point the tip into a crack or void, and squeeze to puff a fine, even cloud deep inside. It's the most common duster in a pest control tech's kit because it's simple, accurate, and has almost nothing to break. The B&G 1150 Bulb Duster is the professional standard, and the JT Eaton Puffy D holds up to 14 oz with a 12" brass extension and a rubber tip for safe dusting around electrical. The Puffy D is also the replacement for the old Centrobulb duster.

Birchmeier Dusters
The Birchmeier Bobby 0.5 is a lightweight bellows duster with a clear 0.5-liter tank that holds about 1 lb of powder. It comes with an extension tube and 5 interchangeable tips (round, angled, and fan-jet), so one duster covers cracks, voids, and foliage. For bigger jobs, the Birchmeier DR 5 is a pressurized 1.5-gallon duster that holds about 11 lbs of powder. Pump it by hand or charge it from a compressor, and it pushes a steady stream through a kink-resistant hose. It's ideal for spreading diatomaceous earth through crawl spaces, attics, and along foundations.
Tips for Better Dusting
Don't overfill. Fill a bulb duster only about halfway. The empty space lets air mix with the dust so it comes out as a fine cloud instead of clumps.
Less is more. A light, nearly invisible film works better than a visible pile. Insects avoid heavy deposits, but they walk right through a fine layer.
Keep it dry. Moisture clumps dust and clogs the tip. Cap the duster between stops and store it upright and sealed.
Use a rubber or insulated tip around electrical. When dusting behind outlet and switch plates, use a duster with a non-conductive tip, like the Puffy D, and follow standard electrical safety practices.
