Honda Engines for Power Sprayers
Honda GX engines are the standard on professional spray rigs because they start easily, run smoothly and keep going season after season. QSpray stocks the Honda GX160 5.5 HP engine, the most common engine on pest control and lawn care rigs, in three configurations so you can match it to your pump and the way you work.
Which GX160 Do You Need?
Recoil start is the simple, dependable choice for most direct-drive and belt-drive spray rigs.
Electric start adds push-button starting, handy for technicians who start and stop the rig many times a day.
6:1 gear reduction slows the output shaft so the engine can drive a diaphragm pump directly at the pump's rated speed, without belts or pulleys. This is the setup used on many rigs with pumps like the AR 252 or Comet MC25.
