The genuine Actisol stainless steel fluid cap for the nozzle end of Actisol wands. It's part of the atomizing nozzle assembly where insecticide and air meet to form Actisol's fine aerosol, so a damaged or worn cap can affect the spray quality of the whole unit. Replace it if it's cracked, the threads are damaged, or it no longer seals.

Should I replace the o-ring at the same time?
Yes. The fluid cap seals with the Actisol 30006 o-ring (item #6). If the cap has been off, or the old o-ring is flattened or cracked, install a new one so the nozzle doesn't leak or lose atomizing pressure.
How do I keep the nozzle working well?
Follow Actisol's cleaning procedure after each use, especially when switching formulations, so residue doesn't build up in the nozzle assembly. The parts breakdown below shows how the fluid cap, o-ring and tip fit together.
