The genuine Actisol adapter body for Actisol 12" and 18" wands. It joins the stainless wand extension to the valve body at the handle end of the wand. The wand's internal poly tubing connects here through the 500019 inlet hose shank, and the stainless air line attaches through a compression elbow. Replace the adapter body if it's cracked, its threads are damaged, or it leaks where it joins the valve body.

The aerosol won't shut off when I release the trigger. Does this part matter?
Yes, because you remove it to reach the cause. First, purge any air pockets by holding the trigger until the aerosol flows steadily, or by producing a pinstream into the original insecticide container with the compressor off. If it still won't shut off, the Teflon seat may be damaged or have debris on it. Per Actisol's manual: back-flush the wand, remove the stainless air line at the compression nut on the elbow, then remove the adapter body from the valve body. Check the exposed seat for debris, nicks and scratches, and inspect the seat stem surface too. Replace either if damaged.
Where can I get a new Teflon seat?
The Actisol 8010009 Teflon seat is interchangeable with the B&G SP-159 soft seat gasket, which we stock. While the adapter body is off, also inspect the inlet hose shank and the end of the poly tubing for cracks or hardening.
Any tips for reassembly?
Use two wrenches on the fittings so you don't twist the tubing or the extension, and don't overtighten. Actisol's guidance for the brass fittings is hand-tight plus about 1/4 turn.
