The genuine Actisol drop-in tank filter for the Actisol Compact unit. It sits in the tank's fill neck, under the fill cap, and strains your insecticide as you pour it in. Actisol's manual says to pour slowly through this filter every time you fill, so debris can't reach the tubing, valve and nozzle. A torn or missing tank filter lets debris through, which can clog the wand and stop the unit from producing a proper aerosol.

Is this the same as the screen in the wand?
No. This filter strains insecticide as it goes into the tank. The wand has a separate 50-mesh Monel screen (8010013) in the strainer housing at the base of the valve, which filters liquid on its way to the nozzle. If your wand is clogged, check that screen too.
Do I remove it to drain the tank?
Yes. Per Actisol's manual, back-flush the unit first, then remove the drop-in tank filter and tip the unit to pour the remaining insecticide through a funnel back into its original container. Drain the tank whenever you change insecticides or store the unit for a long period.
When should I replace it?
Replace it if the mesh is torn, cracked or permanently clogged, or if it's missing. Rinse it with clean water when you drain or flush the unit.
Will it fit my unit?
It's made for the Actisol Compact unit. If you have a different Actisol model, call us at 602-371-1993.
