The genuine Actisol compressor mount and isolator for the Actisol Compact unit. It mounts the compressor to the aluminum cabinet and isolates its vibration, so the compressor runs quieter and the cabinet, fittings and tubing aren't shaken loose over time. If your Compact unit has gotten noticeably louder, rattles, or the compressor sits crooked or loose in the cabinet, a worn or torn isolator is a likely cause.

How do I know the isolator is worn?
Common signs are a louder-than-normal compressor, rattling or buzzing from the cabinet, or a compressor that sits loose or crooked. Rubber isolators harden and crack with age and heat, and once they do, more vibration reaches the cabinet.
Should I check anything else while the cabinet is open?
Yes. Check the compressor intake air filter, since a clogged filter makes the compressor work harder. Also check the tubing connections for vibration damage. If the compressor itself has lost output, the compressor diaphragm (8010068) is the usual wear part.
