The safety lock screw for the valve on Actisol wands. It screws into the back of the valve body, behind the trigger and stem assembly, and is held in place by the snap ring. It has to come out any time you replace the trigger or service the valve, and it's a small part that's easy to lose during a field repair.
| Part Number | Actisol 300028 |
| Location | Back of the wand valve body, held by the snap ring (item #28 on the Actisol wand breakdown) |
| Fits | Actisol wand valves |
When do I need to remove it?
When replacing the trigger or servicing the valve stem and spring. Remove the snap ring first, then the lock screw. Reassemble in reverse. The parts breakdown below shows how everything fits together.
Any tips for field repairs?
Keep the small parts (lock screw, snap ring and trigger screw) in a closed container while you work. They're easily misplaced.
