Shurflo 8000 Series Pumps and Parts
The Shurflo 8000 series is one of the most popular 12-volt pumps for pest control and weed control spray rigs. These diaphragm pumps deliver up to 100 PSI and about 1.8 GPM, enough pressure to reach with a spray gun and push through long hose runs. They're built with polypropylene housings, Santoprene diaphragms and Viton valves for chemical resistance and long life. QSpray stocks 8000 series pumps along with every part you need to rebuild one.
8000 Series Pumps
For 12-volt rigs, shop the Shurflo 8000-543-238, 8000-543-138 and 8000-547-189. Models are available with male (MPT) or female (FPT) threaded ports, so check your existing plumbing before ordering. If your sprayer runs on wall power, the Shurflo 8020-833-238 115V plugs into a standard outlet.
Rebuild Parts: What Fixes What
Pump won't turn on, won't shut off or keeps cycling: replace the demand switch. We carry the 100 PSI demand switch (94-375-15) and the 60 PSI demand switch (94-375-05).
Low pressure or leaking from the pump head: rebuild with the diaphragm kit (94-395-06), valve assembly (94-390-05) or diaphragm drive (94-385-32).
Won't hold pressure when off, or loses prime: replace the check valve assembly (94-374-05).
Cracked or stripped ports: replace the upper housing, available in MPT (94-378-00) or FPT (94-379-00).
Routine maintenance: change the Shurflo 255-213 filter regularly to protect the valves and diaphragms.
Fittings and Electrical
Connect your pump with Shurflo quick-connect fittings: straight 1/2" wingnut (234-2926), angled 1/2" wingnut (234-3926), straight 3/8" swivel (234-2916), 3/8" swivel elbow (234-3916) and the 3/8" x 1/2" adapter (8-145-00). Wire it safely with a 30 amp fuse kit and 12V toggle switch.
