The genuine Green Garde (Hudson) o-ring and seal kit for rebuilding the most popular pest and lawn spray guns. If your gun drips after you release the trigger, leaks around the trigger pack, or loses pressure at the tip, this kit restores a crisp, drip-free shutoff in a few minutes. The precisely molded nitrile seals fit the trigger pack, valve body and outlet fitting, and they're rated for pressures up to 800 PSI. Most Green Garde guns can be rebuilt several times before they need replacing.

Replace the valve seat at the same time. For a complete rebuild, we recommend installing a new Green Garde 38525 Teflon valve seat along with the o-rings. A worn seat can keep the gun dripping even with fresh seals.
Will this stop my gun from leaking?
In most cases, yes. Worn o-rings and seals are the most common cause of drips and pressure loss. If the gun still drips after a rebuild, replace the 38525 valve seat too.
My gun still drips after a rebuild. What's wrong?
Check the two #38538 nuts at the rear of the gun. Green Garde notes that when tightening them, you should leave a little slack so the valve can seat properly and shut off the flow completely. Overtightening those nuts holds the valve slightly open.
Are the seals chemical resistant?
The nitrile seals hold up well to water-based insecticides, herbicides and fertilizers. Some solvent-based products can swell nitrile over time. If you spray those regularly, rebuild more often, or call us at 602-371-1993 about your products.
How do I rebuild the gun?
The parts breakdown below shows where each seal goes. Lightly lubricate the new o-rings before installing them, and don't overtighten the fittings.
How many should I keep on hand?
At least one per service vehicle. A leaking gun in the field means wasted chemical and a lost afternoon, and this kit fixes it in minutes.
