The genuine B&G #453 termite injection tip sprays a 180° pattern at 2 GPM, directing termiticide to one side of the rod. It's ideal for trenching and rodding along foundations, where you want the treatment aimed at the structure instead of away from it. It threads onto B&G Series 400 termite rods for use with the QCG 420, Versagun 430 and Versatool, and it's part of B&G's Standard Tip Kit.

When should I use a 180° tip?
Use it when you want to direct termiticide one way, such as rodding along a foundation with the spray aimed at the structure. For even treatment all around the rod, choose a 360° tip like the #451.
Which flow rate should I use?
2 GPM is the standard for most soil treatments. For lower-flow work, the #452 is the 1 GPM version of this 180° tip. Always follow the termiticide label.
How do I keep tips from clogging?
Use a clean inlet strainer on your rig, flush the rod and tip with clean water after use, and store tips dry.
