The genuine B&G 7/16" x 12" stainless steel termite rod from B&G's Professional Pipe Set. The short 12" length is built for tight spots, such as treating along foundations, under slabs through drilled holes, and in crawl spaces where a long rod won't fit. It fits current B&G Series 400 termite tools, including the QCG 420 Quick Change Gun and Versagun 430, which connect to the rod through a garden hose fitting and the B&G 1/8" rod adapter. Stainless steel resists corrosion from termiticides and wet soil, so it holds up to daily use.

How does the rod connect to my termite tool?
Current B&G Series 400 valves connect to rods through a garden hose fitting. On 7/16" rods, the B&G 22067797 1/8" adapter threads onto the rod and makes that connection. Keep a spare, since a worn adapter gasket is a common source of leaks.
Will it fit my older Versagun?
These Series 400 rods fit current B&G Series 400 tools, including the Versagun valve made since 2011, which attaches its pipes with a garden hose connection. Older Versagun and Versatool models (pre-2005 VT480, SlabJet 2000 and VT 2000) used a different connection and different pipes. If you have an older tool, call us at 602-371-1993 and we'll find the right parts. We stock many of the older ones.
What tips fit a 7/16" rod?
B&G makes 1 GPM tips specifically for 7/16" pipes: the #450 (360°, 11007450) and the #453 (180°, 11007452). See the parts diagrams below for the full tip lineup.
My Versagun is leaking or won't shut off. What do I need?
The B&G Versagun Valve Rebuild Kit (22067554) replaces the valve's wear parts and fits both current and older Versagun valves.
Can I make it longer?
Yes. B&G makes a 7/16" x 40" extension pipe (11007460) for deeper treatments.
