The genuine B&G #457 void tip is built for injecting termiticide into enclosed spaces: hollow block foundations, wall voids, and holes drilled through slabs, patios and stoops. It delivers 2 GPM directly into the void so the treatment goes where termites travel. It threads onto B&G Series 400 termite rods for use with the QCG 420, Versagun 430 and Versatool, and it's part of B&G's Standard Tip Kit.

When do I use a void tip instead of a soil tip?
Use the void tip whenever you're treating an enclosed space, such as hollow block walls, voids behind siding or masonry, or holes drilled through concrete slabs. For open soil along foundations, use a 360° or 180° soil tip instead.
How do I treat through a slab?
Drill through the concrete at the spacing on your termiticide label, insert the rod and void tip into the hole, and inject the labeled volume. Plug the holes afterward. Always follow the termiticide label.
How do I keep tips from clogging?
Use a clean inlet strainer on your rig, flush the rod and tip with clean water after use, and store tips dry.
