The genuine Actisol 1/8" Viton check valve for the manifold assembly on the Actisol Compact unit. It's connected to the regulator and allows flow in one direction only, which prevents backflow in the manifold. Its Viton seal holds up to the chemicals used in the unit. A check valve that sticks open, sticks closed or leaks can interfere with the pressure the regulator is trying to hold, which affects the aerosol at the wand.

How do I know the check valve is bad?
Signs include tank pressure that won't hold steady on the gauge even though the regulator is set correctly, or liquid where only air should be in the manifold lines. Debris or chemical residue can keep the valve from seating. Check the regulator and gauge too, since they can cause similar symptoms.
Which way does it install?
Check valves only flow one way, so install the new valve facing the same direction as the old one. Note the arrow or orientation before you remove it.
Can I replace it myself?
Unplug the unit and release tank pressure before opening the cabinet. If you'd rather not take the manifold apart, we service Actisol units in our Phoenix shop. Call us at 602-371-1993.
