The genuine Actisol mount nut for the 8010043 1/8" regulator on the Actisol Compact unit. It secures the regulator in place, so the adjustment knob stays firm when you lock, unlock and turn it. Replace it if it's missing, cracked or stripped, or if the regulator has become loose. It's a small part that's easy to lose when the regulator is removed for service.

My regulator knob feels loose. Is it the nut?
It may be. If the regulator body moves when you turn the knob, check that the mount nut is present and tight. If the nut is stripped or cracked, replace it.
Do I need a new nut when replacing the regulator?
Only if the old one is damaged or lost. Reuse a good nut, but if it's worn, it's inexpensive to replace while the regulator is out.
Any tips for working on the regulator?
Unplug the unit and release tank pressure before opening the cabinet. Don't overtighten the nut. If you'd rather not take the manifold apart, we service Actisol units in our Phoenix shop. Call us at 602-371-1993.
