Actisol 8010042 0-30 PSI Panel Mount Pressure Gauge

The genuine Actisol 0-30 PSI panel mount gauge for the Actisol Compact unit. It shows the pressure you set with the unit's regulator, which controls how hard the insecticide is pushed to the wand. Actisol's manual uses this gauge to set up every job, so a cracked, stuck or inaccurate gauge makes it hard to get the right aerosol. Replace it if the needle sticks, won't return to zero, reads erratically, or the lens is broken.

Setting the Pressure

From Actisol's operating manual:

• Normal use: unlock the regulator knob by pulling up on it, then turn it slowly clockwise until the gauge reads 10–12 PSI.
• Particle size: the higher the pressure on the gauge, the larger the insecticide particles. Raising pressure only increases flow rate, which uses more product than the job needs.
• Overhead work: above 6–8 feet, raise the pressure in 1–2 lb increments until you get aerosol at the height you're working.
• Back at ground level: turn the regulator counter-clockwise and press the pressure relief valve until the gauge returns to 10–12 PSI.

Frequently Asked Questions

The unit runs but makes no aerosol. Is it the gauge?
Use the gauge to diagnose it. Actisol's troubleshooting says that with the compressor running, it should read 10–12 PSI. If it reads correctly but there's still no aerosol, check for kinked tubing and a clogged tip or fluid cap. If you suspect the gauge itself, compare the unit's behavior to a known-good gauge.

Can I replace it myself?
Unplug the unit and release tank pressure before opening the cabinet. If you'd rather not, we service Actisol units in our Phoenix shop. Call us at 602-371-1993.

Will it fit my unit?
It's made for the Actisol Compact unit. If you have a different Actisol model, call us with the model number.
