The genuine Actisol o-ring for the Compact unit's threaded tank cap. It seals the cap to the fill neck so the insecticide tank holds pressure. Over time the o-ring flattens, cracks or swells from chemical exposure, and the tank slowly loses pressure, which weakens the aerosol at the wand. It's an inexpensive part and one of the first things to check when a Compact unit can't hold pressure.

| Location | Tank cap (item #68 on the Compact Unit breakdown) |
| Fits | Actisol Compact unit tank cap (300048) |
How do I know the o-ring is leaking?
From Actisol's troubleshooting guide: with pressure in the tank, turn the unit off and check for leaks at the tank cap o-ring and the pressure relief valve. Listen for hissing at the cap, and inspect the o-ring for flattening, cracks or swelling.
Any tips for installing it?
Wipe the fill neck and cap clean before installing the new o-ring, and make sure it seats evenly with no twists. Hand-tighten the cap clockwise until firmly secured. Always release tank pressure before removing the cap.
Should I keep a spare?
Yes. It's inexpensive, and a spare in the truck can get a unit that won't hold pressure back to work on the spot.
