Genuine Pumptec replacement hoop plungers for X-Series four-plunger pumps. The X-Series uses two "hoop" plungers, each carrying a ceramic plunger at both ends, so this kit's two assembled hoops replace all four plungers in the pump. A large packet of grease is included for reassembly.

The kit says 2 plungers. Do I need two kits?
No. Each hoop plunger has a ceramic plunger at both ends, so the two hoops in this kit cover all four plungers in an X-Series pump.
When should I replace the plungers?
If you see leaks under the pump, Pumptec recommends replacing the plungers and seals together, since worn or scored plungers will quickly wear out new seals. Abrasives in the spray mix are a common cause, so mix chemicals thoroughly and keep the inlet filter clean.
Is it hard to rebuild an X-Series pump?
No. The pump comes apart with basic hand tools, and Pumptec's manual walks through each step. Grease the checkered areas of both hoops before installing them. Call us at 602-371-1993 if you need help.
