Product Description

MGK Onslaught FastCap Spider & Scorpion Insecticide, 16 oz

Read and follow all label directions. Not for sale in CT, DC, VT or PR.

Onslaught FastCap from MGK is a microencapsulated insecticide concentrate that combines fast kill with long-lasting residual control. It contains three actives: esfenvalerate for residual, prallethrin for fast knockdown, and piperonyl butoxide (PBO) as a synergist. It's labeled for scorpions, spiders, ants (excluding fire ants), cockroaches, bed bugs, fleas, ticks, stinging insects, stored product pests and a long list of other listed pests, indoors and out. Use it as a surface, spot, crack-and-crevice or wall void treatment in and around homes and commercial buildings, and on lawns, turf and landscaping. For desert-region pros, it's a go-to scorpion and spider perimeter product.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I apply it for scorpions?
Outdoors, treat a 2 to 6 foot band of soil next to the building, the foundation up to 2 to 3 feet high, and exterior walls, eaves, cracks and other entry points. Indoors, treat baseboards, around doors and windows, attics, crawl spaces, closets, under sinks and appliances, and cracks and crevices where scorpions shelter. Contact as many as possible with direct spray. Indoors, don't reapply more than once every 7 days.

Can I tank mix it with an IGR?
Yes. The label specifically allows tank mixing with an insect growth regulator such as NyGuard IGR Concentrate, and recommends it for stored product pests and flies to break the reproduction cycle. Do not tank mix with products containing DDVP (dichlorvos).

Can I use it as a fogger or space spray?
No. The label prohibits fogging and space spraying.

What about German cockroaches?
The label says it kills German cockroaches for up to 12 months, but only on indoor, unsealed concrete or cement surfaces.

Can I use it in food handling areas?
Yes, following the label's food handling establishment directions. Spot and crack-and-crevice treatments can be made while a facility is operating if exposed food is covered or removed. General surface treatments require the facility to be closed with food covered or removed.

What precautions should I know?
Wear protective eyewear. Keep people and pets out of treated areas until surfaces are dry, remove pets and birds, and cover aquariums before spraying. It's toxic to fish and highly toxic to bees, so don't let it run off into drains or water, and don't apply where bees are foraging. Don't spray into electrical equipment. Read the full label before use.
