Maxforce Complete is a ready-to-use granular insect bait with 1% hydramethylnon, a delayed-action active ingredient. Its blend of foods appeals to a wide range of ants and crawling insects, and the delayed action lets foraging ants carry the bait back to the nest, so it reaches the whole colony, including the queen. Use it indoors in cracks, crevices and voids, outdoors around structures, in refillable bait stations, and as a broadcast on lawns and non-crop areas. Expect to see fewer insects within a week.
This 4 lb bulk container refills about eight 8 oz Maxforce Complete service containers. It's the economical way to stock up if your techs carry the small shakers.

At the label's perimeter rate, one 4 lb container treats roughly 8 to 16 typical homes. Always read and follow the full label.
Can I spray my perimeter and bait at the same time?
Don't apply sprays or aerosols on top of or close to the bait. The label warns that it reduces effectiveness, because the spray can repel ants from the bait before they carry it back to the colony. Keep baited areas separate from sprayed areas.
How do I treat fire ant mounds?
Sprinkle about 2 tablespoons around each mound, not directly in or on it, and don't disturb the mound. Agitated ants may not feed on the bait.
Where can I use it indoors?
Only in areas inaccessible to children and pets, such as cracks, crevices, wall voids, unfinished attics, crawl spaces, behind switch plates and in tamper-resistant bait stations. Keep it away from food and food-contact surfaces, and wipe up any loose granules.
What precautions should I know?
Keep people and pets out of the area during application. It's harmful if absorbed through the skin, so wear shoes and socks and wash your hands after handling. It's toxic to fish, so don't apply it to water or where it can run off into water. Don't use it on edible food crops.
