Birchmeier Granomax 5 Shoulder Granular Spreader (118-930-01)

Birchmeier Granomax 5 Shoulder Granular Spreader

The Granomax 5 is a Swiss-made shoulder spreader for placing granular bait, insecticide and fertilizer exactly where you want it. Fill the bag, set one of five flow rates, and press the trigger to spread. Let go and the flow stops. A gentle side-to-side motion covers a swath up to about 6' wide, or you can hold it steady for spot placement right at the base of a shrub. It runs on gravity, with no batteries or crank.

Built for the jobs pest techs face every day:

• Rain-out days: Apply granular bait or insecticide when it's too wet to spray liquids.
• Perimeter and landscape beds: Put product around shrubs, decorative rock, tree wells and light poles without throwing it onto walks and driveways.
• Fire ant and ant bait: Make controlled spot treatments without stooping at every mound.
• Fertilizer and seed: Handle small lawns, gardens and patch work where a push spreader won't fit.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I start and stop the flow?
Press and hold the trigger to spread, and release it to stop. Set the flow rate with the 5-stage control, and lock the trigger for transport so nothing leaks in the truck. The clear funnel lets you see the granules flowing.

Can I use it for granular bait and insecticide?
Yes. It handles free-flowing granules up to 4 mm, which covers most granular baits and insecticides. Always follow the product label for application rates.

Is it good for treating a whole lawn?
It's built for precise placement and small-to-medium areas. For broadcasting large lawns, a push spreader is faster. Most techs carry both.

Do I have to bend over to apply around plants?
No. The adjustable strap and spreading height let you work standing up, even around individual shrubs and trees.
