The genuine Actisol on/off toggle switch for the top of the Actisol Compact unit. It turns the compressor on and off, and it gets used constantly: at startup, during the back-flush after every job, and at shutdown. Over time a switch can wear out, break, or make intermittent contact, and the unit may cut in and out or not start at all. Replacing the switch restores reliable power to the compressor.

My unit won't turn on. Is it the switch?
It could be. First check for a working three-prong grounded outlet and a good extension cord. Actisol recommends a heavy-duty three-prong grounded cord no longer than 50 feet. Also check the electrical inlet on the side of the cabinet. If the unit cuts out when you touch the switch, or the switch feels loose or mushy, replace it.
The motor hums but won't start. Is that the switch?
Probably not. If the switch is sending power and the motor hums, the problem is more likely the compressor. Call us at 602-371-1993.
Can I replace it myself?
Always unplug the unit before opening the cabinet. If you're not comfortable with electrical work, we service Actisol units in our Phoenix shop.
