The Udor 6062.53 Control Unit Repair Kit is a replacement internal component kit for compatible Udor 6047.06 and 6047.06/LP pressure regulators. It provides the primary wear components needed to service the regulator's pressure-control mechanism without replacing the entire control unit.

PART NUMBER UPDATE: Udor part number 6062.53 supersedes 8701.02. If your equipment documentation or previous order references repair kit 8701.02, this is the updated replacement kit.

The 6047.06/LP regulator is used with Udor RO-70 diaphragm pumps, making this kit a useful maintenance option when the regulator's internal seals or valve components become worn.

What's Included in the Repair Kit?

The Udor 6062.53 kit contains the following replacement components:

• 1 regulator diaphragm
• 3 O-rings (two of one size and one of another)
• 1 steel poppet
• 1 valve seat
• 1 stainless steel bolt

These parts replace key internal sealing and pressure-regulating components. The kit does not replace the complete regulator housing, pressure gauge, adjustment knob, or external shutoff valves.

When Should You Rebuild the Control Unit?

As a pressure regulator operates, its diaphragm, seals, and valve surfaces can gradually wear. A repair kit may help address issues such as:

• Inconsistent Spray Pressure: Pressure fluctuates even when pump operation and spray demand remain relatively steady.
• Difficulty Adjusting Pressure: The regulator does not respond normally to changes at the adjustment knob.

If the regulator housing is cracked, the adjustment mechanism is severely damaged, or multiple external components require replacement, a complete control unit may be the more appropriate repair.

Installation & Maintenance

Before disassembling the regulator, shut off the pump, disconnect its power source, and relieve all system pressure. Follow the Udor control unit service instructions for proper disassembly, replacement of internal components, and reassembly.

Inspect the regulator housing and sealing surfaces for damage or debris. Install the new diaphragm, O-rings, poppet, and seat in their correct positions, then test the system for leaks and proper pressure adjustment before returning it to service.
