A genuine Hannay replacement 1/2" welded steel hub for Hannay 1522-17-18 manual and E1522-17-18 electric hose reels. The hub is the center shaft of the reel. It turns in the bearings, carries the discs, and routes fluid from the swivel to the hose outlet.

Specifications

Hubs are model-specific. Hannay builds each 1500 series hub to the width of a specific reel, so a hub from a 1520 or 1526 won't fit a 1522. Check the model number on your reel's ID tag before ordering. If your reel isn't a 1522, contact us and we'll find the right hub.

When should I replace the hub?
Replace it if the hub is leaking at the welds or the hose outlet, the shaft is bent, or the bearing surfaces are worn and the reel wobbles or binds when it turns.

Will this fit my reel?
