Birchmeier 103-972-02 Complete Lid with Gasket

A genuine Birchmeier replacement tank lid, complete with the lid gasket and flutter valve already installed. If your lid leaks, won't seal, or the flutter valve and gasket are both worn, replacing the whole lid is the quickest fix. It stops chemical from seeping out and running down your back.

Specifications

Have an older Senior? Older Senior backpacks use a larger lid, 169 mm (about 6-5/8") across, which is a different part (Birchmeier 104-891-01). Measure across your lid before ordering. If it's about 5-3/8", this is the right lid.

Frequently Asked Questions

Should I replace the whole lid or just a part?
If only one part is worn, you can replace it on its own. The flutter valve (113-360-01) is sold separately, and so is the lid gasket. If the lid is cracked, or the gasket and valve are both worn, the complete lid is usually the better buy.

How do I know the lid is the problem?
Liquid seeping from around the lid, especially when you bend over or pump, usually means a worn gasket. If the tank sides suck in as you spray, the flutter valve may be stuck. The video below shows how to fix a leaking lid gasket.
