This is the genuine B&G replacement shutoff spring for the B&G Versagun termite tool valve. It sits inside the valve and pushes the shutoff closed when you let go of the trigger. That gives you a clean, positive cutoff between holes, so termiticide goes into the slab or soil and not onto your customer's floor.
Over time a spring can weaken, corrode, or take a set. When that happens the valve may close slowly, weep, or drip after you release the trigger. Replacing a $6 spring is far cheaper than a complete valve assembly, and it puts a worn Versagun back in service in minutes.
| Manufacturer | B&G Equipment Company |

| Description | Shutoff spring |
| Approx. Size | 3/8" x 1-1/2" |

B&G lists the 22024410 shutoff spring in the parts breakdown for the prior versions of the Versagun valve and for the Versagun 700 Series valve. The current Versagun (2011 version) is the one that attaches its pipes with a garden hose connection. It uses a different compression spring and shutoff assembly, so this spring is not the right part for it. If you're not sure which valve you have, check the parts breakdown in the B&G Versagun Manual (PDF) or contact us and we'll help you match it.
