B&G SSI-4 Sub Slab Injector, 18" Rod (11005965)

The B&G SSI-4 Sub Slab Injector delivers liquid termiticide to the voids beneath concrete slabs and other suspended floors. Drill through the slab, insert the injection pipe, and an expansion ring gasket seals the hole so the termiticide goes beneath the slab instead of back up through the hole. It has a trigger valve with a trigger lock and an 18" rod, and it's fully rebuildable with genuine B&G parts.

What size hole do I drill?
9/16" or larger. B&G warns that smaller holes will damage the injection pipe and the expansion ring gasket.

SSI-4 or SSI-14?
Both inject beneath slabs. The SSI-4 has an 18" rod, and the SSI-14 has a 28" rod. The lock sleeve, shaft and extension rod are model-specific, so check the table above when ordering replacements.

How do I use it safely?
Connect the tool to the supply hose with the trigger off before starting the pump. Before disconnecting, shut off the pump and relieve hose pressure by squeezing the trigger. Never leave the tool unattended with the valve on, and wear PPE that protects your hands, face, eyes and mouth. Read and follow the termiticide label.

How do I maintain it?
Flush the valve, pipe and tips with clean water regularly. Replace soil tips about every two years, and replace the expansion ring gasket when it's worn or damaged.
