The e-coated version of Ace's GE-660 centrifugal pump, built for landscape and ag work. The housing, bracket and impeller are e-coated for excellent corrosion protection against chlorides, so it holds up to liquid fertilizers, salts and treated water that would corrode a bare iron pump. Performance is the same as the standard GE-660: up to 110 GPM and 115 PSI, bolting directly to a 5.5 HP gas engine with a 3/4" keyed shaft such as the Honda GX160. Engine not included.

Do not run dry. Centrifugal pumps rely on the liquid to cool and lubricate the seal. Running dry, even briefly, can destroy the seal.
Do I need the e-coated version?
If you pump liquid fertilizers, salts, or anything with chlorides, yes. The e-coat prevents the corrosion that eats bare iron pumps from the inside. For clean water only, the standard GE-660-LE performs the same and costs less.
Is this the right pump for a pest control handgun rig?
Usually not. Centrifugal pumps deliver high volume at low-to-moderate pressure, and output drops as pressure rises. For handgun spraying at higher pressure, a diaphragm or piston pump is a better fit. This pump excels at transfer, tank filling and boom or boomless spraying.
Is it hard to install?
The -LE kit includes everything needed to mount the pump on your engine, and Ace's manual walks through each step. It's a straightforward job for an experienced mechanic. If you're not comfortable with it, call us at 602-371-1993.
Can it be rebuilt?
Yes. The Ace RK-GE-660 repair kit replaces the shaft seal and o-ring. Keep one on hand for backup. For abrasive liquids, Ace also offers the RK-GESC-660 kit with a silicon carbide seal.
