The Ace GE-660-LE is an all-iron centrifugal pump that bolts directly to a 5.5 HP gas engine with a 3/4" keyed shaft, such as the Honda GX160. It moves up to 110 GPM and builds up to 115 PSI, making it a strong choice for high-volume work: water and chemical transfer, filling tanks, and boom or boomless spraying. A stainless steel shaft sleeve with o-ring leak protection and a large vent area between pump and engine help protect the engine from leaks. Engine not included.

Do not run dry. Centrifugal pumps rely on the liquid to cool and lubricate the seal. Running dry, even briefly, can destroy the seal.
Is this the right pump for a pest control handgun rig?
Usually not. Centrifugal pumps deliver high volume at low-to-moderate pressure, and output drops as pressure rises. For handgun spraying at higher pressure, a diaphragm or piston pump is a better fit. This pump excels at transfer, tank filling and boom or boomless spraying.
Should I get the coated version?
For landscape and ag work with fertilizers or salts, we recommend the GE-660-LE-EC (e-coated). The e-coat provides much better corrosion protection against chlorides.
Is it hard to install?
The -LE kit includes everything needed to mount the pump on your engine, and Ace's manual walks through each step. It's a straightforward job for an experienced mechanic. If you're not comfortable with it, call us at 602-371-1993.
Can it be rebuilt?
Yes. The Ace RK-GE-660 repair kit replaces the shaft seal and o-ring. Keep one on hand for backup. For abrasive liquids, Ace also offers the RK-GESC-660 kit with a silicon carbide seal.
