Tim-bor Professional 1.5 lb – Borate Wood Treatment & Insecticide

Tim-bor Professional is a water-soluble borate wood treatment with insecticidal and fungicidal properties. Formulated with 98% disodium octaborate tetrahydrate, it provides long-lasting protection against labeled wood-destroying insects and decay fungi when used according to the product label.

Tim-bor Professional can be applied as a liquid solution, dust, or foam, providing flexibility for both preventative and remedial wood treatments. It is used to help control termites, wood-destroying beetles, ants, and wood decay fungi, including white rot, brown rot, and wet rot, as specified on the label.

Application Methods

Dust Application: Apply into labeled treatment areas such as termite galleries, wall voids, box sills, and attics, following the product label.

Liquid Application: Apply by brush or spray to wood surfaces using the label-specified solution concentration and number of coats:

• 10% Solution: Apply two coats to wood surfaces for the specified preventative or remedial treatments, including wood with drier-than-normal moisture content.
• 15% Solution: Apply one coat to wood surfaces for the specified preventative or remedial treatments, including wood with normal moisture content.

Injection Application: Where permitted by the label, treatment solution may be injected under pressure through drilled holes into sound wood or insect galleries within infested wood.

Foam Application: Tim-bor Professional may also be used in foam applications where specifically directed by the product label.
