Mosquito Dunks provide an easy, effective way to control mosquito larvae in standing water before they develop into biting adults. Each package contains 6 floating dunks that slowly release a naturally occurring bacterium, Bacillus thuringiensis subspecies israelensis (Bti), into the water.

Bti targets mosquito larvae as they feed, helping interrupt the mosquito life cycle. Simply place a dunk in standing water where mosquitoes breed. Each dunk treats up to 100 square feet of water surface for 30 days or more, making this a convenient option for ongoing mosquito prevention.

Where to Use Mosquito Dunks

Mosquitoes commonly breed in standing water, including small collections that are easily overlooked. Mosquito Dunks can be used in label-approved locations such as:

• Rain barrels and water collection containers
• Bird baths and ornamental water features
• Planter reservoirs and plant saucers
• Clogged rain gutters
• Tree holes and other natural water-holding cavities
• Elevator shafts and other areas where standing water accumulates

How to Use

1. Identify standing water where mosquitoes may breed.
2. Place the appropriate amount of Mosquito Dunk directly into the water, following the product label.
3. Allow the dunk to float and gradually release Bti into the water.
4. Monitor treated areas and reapply according to label directions to maintain mosquito larval control.

Important: Mosquito Dunks target mosquito larvae in water, not adult mosquitoes already flying. Eliminating unnecessary standing water remains an important part of mosquito prevention.
