The genuine Hypro seal repair kit for cast iron centrifugal pumps in the 9200, 9300 and 9400 series. It replaces the mechanical seal, o-ring and gasket, the parts that wear out and cause leaks or lost pressure. It's a quick rebuild that gets your pump back to full flow without replacing it.

Have a stainless steel pump? Stainless ("S") versions of these pumps, such as the 9203S or 9303S, use the Hypro 3430-0589 Life Guard silicon carbide seal kit instead. Check the model number on your pump's tag. The "C" or "S" after the number tells you which kit you need.
How do I know I need a seal kit?
Hypro's guidance: if the pump starts leaking from the weep hole, or the flow rate or pressure drops, the parts in this kit most likely need replacing. Don't keep running a leaking seal, since spray mix can reach the bearings and damage the pump further.
How do I keep the new seal from failing early?
Never run a centrifugal pump dry. The liquid cools and lubricates the mechanical seal, and running dry, even briefly, can ruin it. Prime the pump before starting, and keep the inlet strainer clean.
