1/2 HP 12V DC Hose Reel Motor, Flange Mount

A replacement 1/2 HP, 12-volt DC electric rewind motor for hose reels. It's a direct replacement for the Hannay 9915.0003 (SX-001) flange-mount motor and the Cox 15223-1. Half-horsepower motors are the standard choice for electric reels carrying 3/4" or 1" ID hose, with the torque to rewind a full hose smoothly and evenly. It comes with 12V DC lead wires.

Specifications

Match your mount style. Hannay reel motors come in flange-mount, base-mount and face-mount versions, and they don't interchange. This motor replaces the flange-mount 9915.0003. Hannay's base-mount 9915.0013 and face-mount 9915.0042 (used on most 1500 and 2000 series reels) are different motors. Check the part number on your old motor, or call us at 602-371-1993 before ordering.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know the motor is bad?
If the reel won't rewind when you press the button, check the cheaper parts first: the fuse or breaker, the push button switch, the solenoid and the wiring connections. If all of those test good and the motor still won't run, or it runs weakly or gets hot, it's time to replace the motor.

Do I need anything else to install it?
Reuse your existing sprocket, mounting hardware, push button and solenoid if they're in good shape. Make sure your wiring and fuse are sized for a 1/2 HP 12V motor.

Will it fit my reel?
It replaces Hannay 9915.0003 and Cox 15223-1 flange-mount motors. Send us the model number of your reel and your old motor and we'll confirm the fit.
