Birchmeier Wand Gasket - Nylon 140-080-01N

Birchmeier 140-080-01N Nylon Wand Gasket

The Birchmeier 140-080-01N Nylon Wand Gasket is a replacement sealing gasket that fits between the spray wand and spray tip on compatible older-style Birchmeier backpack sprayers. It helps create a secure, leak-resistant connection at the wand tip.

This gasket is made from nylon, matching the material used in the original nylon gasket supplied with compatible backpack sprayers.

IMPORTANT COMPATIBILITY NOTE: This gasket fits older-style Birchmeier Flox, Iris, Senior, and BCS backpack sprayers. It does NOT fit AT-style Birchmeier backpacks. Verify your sprayer model before ordering.

When Should You Replace the Wand Gasket?

The wand-tip gasket is a wear item that can deteriorate from repeated tip removal, installation, and normal use. A worn or damaged gasket may prevent the tip connection from sealing properly.

Common signs that the gasket may need replacement include:

• Liquid leaking from the connection between the spray wand and tip.
• A gasket that is cracked, flattened, deformed, or visibly worn.
• A missing gasket after removing or changing spray tips.
• A connection that continues to leak after the tip is properly installed and the sealing surfaces are checked.

Because this small gasket is frequently removed or disturbed during tip maintenance, keeping a few spares on hand can help prevent unnecessary downtime.
