The Birchmeier DR 5 is a professional pressurized powder duster for applying dusts and powders quickly and evenly over large areas. Pump it up by hand or charge it from a compressor through the air valve, and it pushes a steady stream of powder through a reinforced hose that resists clogging. It's especially well suited to organic and biological dusts like diatomaceous earth, rock dust and algae lime powder.

For commercial and residential use, including pest control, gardens and agriculture. Always follow the product label for the dust you're applying.
What can I use it for in pest control?
The DR 5 is built for applying dust over larger areas than a hand bulb duster can cover, such as diatomaceous earth in crawl spaces, attics and along foundations. Always follow the label of the dust product for where and how much to apply.
How do I keep the powder flowing?
Use dry powder and keep the tank closed when you're not using it, since moisture makes dust clump. The kink-resistant hose helps prevent blockages, but if flow drops off, relieve the pressure and check the hose and tube for packed powder.
Is it safe to open the tank while pressurized?
No. Always release the pressure before opening the tank. The built-in relief valve protects against over-pressurizing, so don't tamper with it. Wear a dust mask and eye protection when applying dusts.
Are replacement parts available?
Yes. We stock the 104-950-07 trigger assembly, and we can get other genuine Birchmeier DR 5 parts. Call us at 602-371-1993.
