The PV-266 is the small Viton check valve that plugs into the bottom of the B&G PO-267 pump tube. Each pump stroke pushes air past it into the tank, and it seals behind the air so liquid can't flow back up into the pump. It flexes with every stroke, which makes it one of the first parts to wear out. Keeping a spare in the truck can save a service call.

How do I know my check valve is bad?
The usual signs are a tank that won't build or hold pressure, or liquid coming up through the pump while you pump. A torn, curled or hardened check valve can't seal.
How often should I replace it?
For sprayers in daily service, replacing it about twice a year prevents most pump problems. It's an inexpensive part, so many techs keep a few on hand.
Will it fit a non-B&G sprayer?
It's made for B&G pump tubes. Other brands may use a different size, so compare your old valve to the dimensions above before ordering, or call us at 602-371-1993.
