The genuine Coxreels 3/4" heavy-duty brass swivel with Viton seals, used on many Coxreels 1125-5 Series hand crank reels and other Cox reels with 3/4" hose. The 90° design saves space on the reel. Viton holds up to pest control and herbicide chemicals better than standard nitrile seals, so this version is the right choice for spray rigs. When the seals eventually wear, the swivel can be rebuilt instead of replaced.

3/4" is the pipe thread size on the swivel's inlet and outlet, not the size of the swivel body. Pipe threads measure larger than their name: a 3/4" male pipe thread measures about 1.05" (roughly 1-1/16") across. See our guide to measuring pipe thread, or contact us if you're not sure.
When should I replace or rebuild my swivel?
Rebuild it when it drips or sprays at the joint, or when it gets stiff and makes the reel hard to turn. If the brass body is cracked or the threads are damaged, replace the whole swivel.
Can I use a Viton swivel to replace a standard 426?
Yes. The 426-1 is the same swivel with upgraded seals, so it's a direct replacement for the nitrile 426 and better suited to chemical spraying.
Can it be rebuilt?
Yes. The Coxreels 426-1-SEALKIT includes Viton o-rings and backing rings to reseal it. Call us at 602-371-1993 to order.
