Surgebuster Tank Baffle 15"

Surgebuster 15" Tank Baffles

Sold in cases of 10 or 25 units. Not sold individually. Select your case size above.

The 15" Surgebuster fits larger tanks with 16" lids and larger. Surge Buster® is a patented anti-surge system that works differently from conventional baffles. Instead of blocking surge and transferring it through the tank to the truck, Surge Buster dissipates the energy inside the tank. According to the manufacturer, it eliminates up to 96% of surge in any liquid load and can reduce vehicle maintenance costs by 30–40%, extending the life of your tank, air ride shocks, king pins, brakes, tires and frame.

How Many Do I Need?

For water in most tanks, a quick estimate for 15" Surgebusters is:

1. Find your tank capacity in gallons.
2. Divide by 32.
3. Round up. That's the number of units you need.

Example: a 525-gallon tank ÷ 32 = 16.4, so round up to 17 units.

For other liquids, or to be sure, use the Surgebuster Tank Calculation Chart. When installed, the system should appear ½ to ¾ full in the tank.
