1. Do not hang any extra weight on swivel. It will reduce swivel life.

2. Be sure input hose to swivel has slack to allow swivel to rotate. If swivel can't rotate, swivel life will be reduced.

3. Inspect swivel regularly for leaks.

4. Rebuild swivel as soon as it starts to leak. Leaks will get worse quickly.

5. Keep an extra swivel rebuild kit on hand so you don't have to live with leaks.
