Use the Birchmeier DR-5 Duster For Hard To Reach Spots

Posted by Andrew Greess on Feb 22, 2017

The  Birchmeier DR-5 Duster is a great way to apply insecticide dust into cracks, crevices, wall voids and other hard to reach areas. It is a five – liter tank that has both a hand pump and a valve to use an air compressor. The long brush application wand stores right on the pump handle and there is a convenient carrying strap. Because it's made by Birchmeier it comes with a two year warranty. There is a valve on the backside of the unit to release the air pressure when not in use. This is a quality piece of equipment that is used by a lot of pest control professionals.

At Qspray.com we also carry all Birchmeier parts and accessories because we want to be the only place you shop for your equipment.

Andrew Greess: Hi, this is Andrew Greess with Quality Equipment and Spray, Qspray.com. Today I'm talking about the Birchmeier DR‑5 duster. This is a very popular duster for a couple reasons. One, it's got a really big capacity. It's got a five‑liter tank. Five liters, I'm not an expert in metric, but that's somewhere little bit less than a gallon, so it holds a lot of dust.

The other clear benefits of it are A, you can pump it up with a pump handle, but it also has a valve so you can pump it up with a compressor, air compressor. And so there's a couple of ways to just put it under pressure. I will say that when using an air compressor and squeeze the handle, it does use up the pressure quite quickly. So unless you have a compressor with your hand, you're going to have to keep on doing that.

It is a wonderful unit, the valve storage right in the handles. Got a nice long brush tip for getting the dust where you need it to go, and of course it's made by Birchmeier so it carries the two‑year Birchmeier manufacturer's warranty.

It's a great unit with a carrying strap as well, and there's also a valve on the back to release the pressure. It is a terrific unit used by a lot of pest control professionals. Hope you'll take a look at it. Come visit us at Qspray.com. Thanks for watching.
